STEM: A Star Wars Story
May the 4th be with you! This word play comes from the Star Wars franchise, “May the force be with you,” because Monday, May 4, was Star Wars Day.
Here at AAAS, we are channeling our inner Jedi and focusing on the science of science fiction. Beginning in the 1400’s, science fiction has a long tradition of examining the human relationship with technology and the unknown, particularly space exploration through astronomy and physics. Centuries later, newer and more powerful technology allows us to explore our skies and seek answers beyond our planet, solar system, and galaxy.
